Having just completed nine weeks of intense firefighter training, Jennifer Simperman graduated from the Washington State Fire Training Academy this weekend. She’s been working hard at CrossFit Eastside and on her own to prepare for the academy and for the work of a firefighter. We have been honored to be part of helping Jennifer follow her dreams.

Jen is following in the footsteps of fellow CFES athlete and firefighter Jenny Oltmann, a longtime veteran of Eastside Fire & Rescue.

CrossFit Eastside muscle-up Sophie’s been working diligently toward a muscle-up for months now, putting in extra work on her ring dips and practicing the pull-up-to-dip transition. She came home from college for a visit and popped herself right up into her first ever muscle-up! Good to have you back in the house, Sophie!
