Mikey gets a bit of assistance for working on deep ring dips, muscle-ups, and other skills on the high rings.
We can make just about any move easier--or harder--in ways that preserve the stimulus, improve strength and ability incrementally, and challenge any athlete, whatever his or her experience and fitness level.

The actual Northwest Regional Qualifier for the 2009 CrossFit Games will be held May 16, 2009, at Magnuson Park in Seattle. The only way to compete as an individual in this year's Games, unless you happen to be one of the top 5 finishers in last year's Games, is via your region's qualifier. So, if you want to give it a shot (or just come out and play with the big kids), you have to register before April 15, 2009.
Let's recap the vital dates and stats:
April 15, 2009: Registration deadline for Northwest Regional Qualifier
May 16, 2009: Northwest Regional Qualifier for 2009 Games, in Seattle
July 10-12, 2009: CrossFit Games, in Aromas, CA
Each CrossFit affiliate can also send its own team of four to six (comprising at least two men and two women) to compete for the Affiliate Cup, to be awarded to the winners of a series of all-team events held during the Games. More on this for CrossFit Eastside later.
